Some times it happens that you tend to reward your cat for unfavorable behavior like if it throws itself on you right when you are trying to sleep or messes up your favorite dish lying ton the dining table. The thing is that you love your cat a lot and don’t want to run it off. But this is wrong and proves as a hindrance in your cats training.

You cannot every time catch your cat while it wets your precious sofa as your cat has already learnt that being caught is a bad thing. You have to point out its mess and then the area meant for doing its business. Mostly cats don’t want to trouble themselves by reaching that litter area so its you who needs to take care of this. There is no point in getting frustrated handle your cat with affection.

Your cat will never respond to your reprimands and will even misbehave in your absence. Sometimes cats misbehave to grab attention. Some of the tricks will help you to teach your kitty.

Avoid all the punishments you force upon your cat. Let it do whatever it is doing. Try to teach it how to perform tasks and then be rewarded suitably.
